This page explains what information acearts.org collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated November 2026.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site (the free lesson, the newsletter, a booking inquiry, a waitlist or the contact form), we receive your name, your email address and anything you write in the message.

When you buy a course, class or product, we receive your name, email address, billing address and what you bought. Your card details go straight to the payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

When you create an account to take a course, the site stores your login email and your progress through the lessons.

Squarespace, which hosts the site, also records basic visit statistics: which pages were viewed, the type of device, the country or region, and the site you came from. It uses cookies for this and to keep your cart and login working.

Why we use it

We use your information to give you what you asked for: to send the free lesson, open your course, reply to your message, confirm a booking, and send the newsletter if you signed up for it. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who handles it

Squarespace stores form submissions, orders and accounts. Payments are handled by the payment processor connected to the site, and newsletters are sent through Squarespace. Each company has its own privacy policy.

Emails

Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Receipts, password resets and other account emails are sent only when needed.

Your choices

Email info@acearts.org to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting your account also removes your access to any course on it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
