NEESAN
Levant Noir. Oud, buzuq, and saz through psychedelic rock and jazz.
Live
NEESAN is built as a live band. The live footage was filmed at DROM, New York City.
The project
NEESAN is April Centrone’s Arabic psych alt-rock project: Levant Noir. Oud, buzuq, and saz meet psychedelic rock and jazz improvisation, written and led by April, with music that moves through themes of war, loss, healing, and rebirth.
