Riqq & Bendir Mastery - Group Class
Join an amazing community of fellow Arabic percussionists and emerge with pro-level command of the Riq & Bendir/Frame Drum. Learn popular rhythms from Egypt, the Levant and North Africa, traditional and modern embellishments, improvisation and much more. Become a versatile drummer and musician that can lead in any musical setting, whether a traditional Arabic ensemble, belly-dance performance, drum circle or educational space.
Fall Schedule (Sep-Dec 2026)
Mondays 8:00-9:00pm PST
DATES: September 14, 21, 28, Oct 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14, 21. Holiday performance TBD
Tuition: $800 (Early bird registration by August 10) or $950 thereafter
Location: ONLINE or in-person at Private Home Studio in Spring Valley, Las Vegas
Registration includes one free optional makeup date incase you can’t make a scheduled class! Zoom link available upon registration. A class is subject to rescheduling by the instructor, either to a future Monday or other day/time that suits all students’ schedules. Students must provide their own drums.
