Join an amazing community of fellow Arabic percussionists and emerge with pro-level command of the Riq and Bendir/Frame Drum. Learn popular rhythms from Egypt, the Levant and North Africa, traditional and modern embellishments, improvisation and much more. Become a versatile drummer and musician that can lead in any musical setting, whether a traditional Arabic ensemble, belly-dance performance, drum circle or educational space.
Summer 2026 Session - $800 (Early bird registration by April 30th) or $950 thereafter. Registration closes May 9th.
Location: ONLINE or in-person at 4079 N Rancho Dr, Suite 120, Las Vegas, NV 89130
Summer Schedule (May 11-Aug 17)
Mondays 8:30-9:30pm PST - riqq and bendir
DATES: May 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, Aug 3, 10, 17, September performance TBD
Your registration includes one free optional makeup date, incase you can’t make a scheduled class!
(Optional season-end activity: Aug 24-31 - Hawaii Arabic Drum and Dance Retreat (3 spots left))
